Back before Jalana got involved with the Librarium, fox-kin was just ‘Ana’. An average Ayeri
red-fox, striking out on the road and wanting to make it big. Those were simple times, thoughthe days were still dangerous.

Back then, it was just Ana and Maduro. Two foxes on the road searching for treasures within
lost ruins. Back then most excitement came from traps or wild beasts they’d come across. The danger came from business deals. You know, the ones that were too good to be true. You had to know when to walk and sometimes when to run.

Now with the Librarium, there is endless paperwork. Procedure after procedure and rules for just about everything. Jalana sometimes thinks back to the simpler times. She dreams about those years camping out in the wilderness. Days spent sharpening her blade and preparing for the next dive into lost ruins.

Of course, the librarium pays a lot better than freelance work. Decisions, decisions
