Not many in Lioncourt know of Dame Jonah Schwarzsturm's history before lioncourt. Even fewer are aware of her royal lineage. Born Princess Joanna Serilda von Lichtenschwein, eldest child of the King of Schweinhold and heir to the throne before politics, betrayals, and family drama caused the young gilt to denounce her family and name. 

With her younger brother Karsten set to take the throne, Jonah followed her own path and wishes to be as far from a Princess as one could be; despite the titles and accolades she has earned as a Knight of Lioncourt.

Lost in the sea of her travels and work as a Mercenary Princess, is her long suffering attendant, Magda Dietrich. The Schweinan noblewoman had been assigned to attend the young piglet since she was six and  had a reasonable relationship with the Princess before her family troubles. After Jonah decided to be done with Schweinhold she abandoned everything and everyone, including Magda.

Having been seen as a failure for allowing the Princess to leave, Magda was punished with banishment till such time that Princess Joanna decided to return. Something that Jonah has been clear will never happen. Now Magda follows Jonah as best she can, trying her best to attend the wayward Princess who resents any ties to her former life and often simply avoids or ducks the insistent sow. Unable to return home, Magda spends her time and effort doing odd jobs and making money to aid in tracking and trying to get her attendee to accept her and maybe finally return home so that she can as well.
