Maturity has nothing to do with life experiences, maturity is how you HANDLE those life experiences. You can have a hundred huge events happen in your life that are supposed to be life changing but if you handle them badly or don’t maximize the most out of that experience, then your immaturity will show because you’re lacking the maturity and understanding in how to handle what’s given to you. You can be 15 or 50. I’ve known 15 year olds more mature than 30 year olds, it’s about how you carry yourself, how you handle yourself, how you act and how you conduct yourself. If the furthest you’ve ever traveled in life is the grocery store, doesn’t matter because maturity is not based on financial or intellectual wealth. Dean is my favorite, always has been, but he is the act first, think later, where Sam is the opposite, but that doesn’t make Sam more mature. Sam can act like a petulant child, you’ll see that coming up in future seasons. They both have huge flaws but at the end of the day, no one will ever be there for each other like those two and for all their flaws, they are hero’s. You’re going to see A LOT more things Cameron that shows how much Dean DID raise Sam even with only a four year age difference, bunch of seasons to go yet, lots of ground to cover.
