Let's not forget Silver befriended Daniel before he started training him while hiring Mike Barnes and his friends to target him, which at one point Silver set up this fake rescue scenario from Barnes to make it seem like Silver was on his side/a friend. Then we have the torture training and psychological abuse Terry caused. You can even go back and say that if Johnny never opened Cobra Kai anjd just decided to train Miguel like Miyagi did Daniel then perhaps things would have been fine. Because Kreese perhaps wouldn't have come back. It was Johnny's toxic teacings in season 1 then letting Kreese back in when he wanted to turn things around in season 2 that really effected how kids of Cobra Kai behaved. Hell things would have been fine if Kreese never came back. I don't know but if I were Daniel and I saw this man who was abusive to me as a teenager now teaching new teenagers, I would 100% try to take him down. Rather than not get involved he should be smarter about how he is getting involved. Because at the end of the day Daniel or no Daniel Cobra Kai is still toxic and training kids to be bullies.
