They sure are!  The color may have escaped this vintage 16mm Coronet print but not the FUN!  Back in the days when Cartography was a rough-and-tumble adventureland of daily excitement to be savored at any desired scale you choose.  I easily would have been a map maker back in the day... and with all this fun they're having, wouldn't you???  Enjoy!
