Another one of a kind 16mm reel, this time in glorious Ektachrome!  This one has my narration since it is a silent reel but I know nothing about who shot this, or if it ever became a finished film, or if there are published copies of the final version still in existence, but I'll talk about what I see as I see it.  Enjoy!

At work we make welding equipment in which we use similar capacitors to the one shown welding a paper clip. In our application they are rated at 33,000 uF and can be charged up to a maximum of 200V, a weld set can have up to 4 of them in parallel. With these we can weld 8mm (5/16") diameter steel bar to flat sheet steel, you definitely don't want to be touching this with your bare hands!

Flair! Won’t mush down!!

I didn't figure I'd stick around to watch this film but I couldn't turn away and stayed till the end. Probably cuz of the great narration!

I miss the big electrolytic capacitors almost the size of a coke can, I believe they are still around as start and run caps in refrigeration.

Only you could focus on the pens in all this Fran. That's not an insult by the way, just a celebration of your uniqueness.

An interesting film indeed Fran, would be interesting to know what they went to all that expense to make it for.

There's an untapped market for narration of such silent films - "If you're ahead of the game, you know what's gonna happen" - adds a degree of glee that's hard to find elsewhere.
