!New Build alert!

A lot of you have been asking me to bring back the old demo map because it looks more lively. So I decided to add both the demo map (destruction-less) and the map that’s in development for the final game.

What’s “new” in the new map?

Well, I am glad you asked.

The biggest hurdle I’ve been working on is making the cities procedural. That’s right, every time you load into New Map. The layout of the buildings and road will be completely procedural.

Currently its only showing the three building you are used to, since those are the only ones I created destruction states with. My future plans include new destruction states for all the other buildings so the city looks more diverse.

New map is still missing cars, so if you want to quench your thirst for vehicle destruction, please use old map to relive the nostalgia.

Since the roads generated in new map use splines (points), I am hoping to get cars moving in traffic for the new map.

Please try both maps and tell me what you think!

I just played the new map for a bit, and overall, I thought it was good. One thing I did notice though is that when you grow to the maximum size and try to walk through a dense patch of buildings you’ll sometimes end up walking in place for a few seconds while the buildings try to break, or you end up stepping over them and end up floating above the map which seems a bit glitchy. Another thing that seems weird is when the giantess was at maximum size, I leveled the entire city and only had 80 “kills”. This seemed a bit low for leveling the city, and I’m wondering if that will be something that will be changed in the future. The last thing that I’m wondering is if there are any plans to add things like dirt or bloodstains to the bottoms of the giantess’s feet once they’ve been crushing for a bit? I think it would be a cool feature to make it so they get dirty/bloody as you play. Anyways thanks for another great update, and keep up the awesome work!

I dont really care which map it is, just looking forward for some action! Having said that, I must tell that the whole new feel of the game is an improvement in graphics and handling. Loved the new map,. the old map . Its shame you didnt put the one with buildings and cars, the intermediate one. I am anxious to see the new Goddess. Your gts girls are the best, sir!

Thanks for the feedback! Yup, the weird floating collision is definitely a bug that needs to be addressed. As for the kills, that logic hasn’t been implemented yet. Eventually, leveling building will get you significant amount of kills. I am planning on adding particle effects of civilians falling from the buildings as they are destroyed.
