February Practice/Portfolio Piece: BB the Pirate (Patreon)

In addition to losing our 16 year old dog, Gavin this month (who I might do a piece for in the upcoming month or two, when I'm emotionally ready), my wife lost her rescue/therapy chicken, B.B. (originally named "Black Beard").  She was a rescue from a larger home farm when she was attacked by a raccoon, and lost an eye in the process and her owner didn't have the ability to nurse a single chicken back to heath and offered her to my wife, who took her in.

B.B. was the sweetest hen, and really seemed to understand that she'd been rescued.  We have no idea how old she was when we adopted her (but she was fully mature/laying) but lived another 5 years with us.  In her tribute, I did this piece this month for her - this piece was done almost entirely in Procreate, and I'm also uploading a couple pics of the hen herself :3
