Thank you all again SO MUCH for your continued support, encouragement, and sticking by me while I've been dealing with a lot these past few months.  I'm happy to reopen commissions (at least a BRIEF OPEN window to new work) but once I close it, I should be going back to a typical close, where I still accept payments towards sequences in progress.

Just expect that my typically insane workrate will still likely be slowed down for at least a few more months <3 . Thank you all again so much for your patience, understanding, and support throughout this!

  1. The Website Update is Live and Commissions have been opened!
I do not expect to have them open for long as I have a lot still on my plate in April: my wife is having surgery April 2, and she is my TOP priority.  Plus, I am doing some acting work on the side as I've been recovering, and that can eat up random chunks of my week, but it will be something I'm excited to share with you all when I can talk more about it :)

  2. HEALTH UPDATE:
I've been on the upswing (although they are still tweaking my meds to try to find the right balance of synthroids now that I've had a total thyroidectomy) - my wife is now going in for surgery April 2.  I will be taking care of her while she regains her strength and recovers from a major ordeal (she is having a full hysterectomy).
So we're anticipating a recovery time, and a lot of difficult hormone and emotional fallout over the next month or so.

Regarding my cancer, we're still on the "wait and see" time.  Thyroid cancer is for better or worse, one of the least dangerous forms of cancer, but one that can be difficult to detect in trace amounts, and it is slow growing - so you don't get an "all clear" like some other forms, and it is subject to recurrence like eveything else.  I will be having a "restaging" in May to do another ultrasound to see if there is any visible evidence of it in my system.

  3. Crowdfunded Sequences - Three New Pages of Cabin in the Woods: the Documentary
SOON I plan on starting a new Community Funded sequence since we recently wrapped up the Good vs Evil: Corruption of the Innocent sequence, but there's been a lot on my plate lately and I haven't had the opportunity to pick which idea I want to put up next.  Stay tuned!
I may use one of my practice/portfolio days to start a new one in a few months to give you guys the first few pages and a teaser - I have some ideas >3
  4. Donation artwork for March 2019: "March Hare Madness"
Two basketball fans are arguing and ignoring their girlfriends, who unwittingly curse them when they compare them to the battling March Hares
    Two men -> Anthro Rabbits
all pages are either 2+ characters or comics = 7 pages total
  5. New Commission Type Available:
I have a new type of commission available on my price sheet to reflect some of the practice I've been doing in the Procreate program: I'll spend a full workday doing a single figure with background in an experimental style.  Check it out! :)  These are one page only things, and essentially I spend the day and just really get into a piece.
  6. "COMMUNITY FUNDED COLORS of the original CABIN IN THE WOODS by FOXYFUSSINGS"
My wife, foxyfussings, who has colored (so far) pages 1-4 is helping out with an offer to color more pages of the sequence in the style she's started!
All funding is going to our household to help with our joint medical bills/living expenses.
$5 minimum contribution.  She will color through the sequence in order - contributions will go towards coloring the next page in the sequence (that has not already been colored by either her or a guest artist).

Or You can sponsor a full page of your choice at the rate of ($20/character for full pages, or $50/comic page).
(If you're contributing towards a full page that is not next in the sequence, it must be for the full amount.  Make a note in the contribution if you would like to sponsor a specific page, otherwise I will assume is it a contribution for the next page).

She reserves the right to put a hold on payments if she falls behind.  But, at the moment,  Foxyfussing's Coloring : CURRENTLY OPEN
  7. COLORED VERSION OF HELEN AND CASSIE and the donation art for Sept 2018 are still available

  8. Updated Commission Table:
I've tweaked prices in anticipation of the upcoming end of the hard close and reformatted the pricing table to hopefully make it better organized.  All the fullpage figure prices are at the top, ordered by increasing complexity of media, and the comic page prices are all at the bottom.
Also, I am no longer offering the TF special - I've had it for over 15 years for the same price, and I just can't afford to offer it any longer.

  9. Trying to Contact:
some lovely person out there with a s****r***j**@google.com (not gmail - though I tried to send an email to the same address @gmail) email address - I have tried to send you a thank you for your contribution + the colored houndoom art, but the email address is bouncing.  If you can contact me with another way to reach you that would be great - just let me know your full email address to verify it's you :)

Also: Trying to reach another contributor who bought the color Helen & Cassie comic whose email is bouncing. If you are m*****m**@e****.org - send me an email with an alternate email address to reach you so I can get you your artwork! <3
