Alpha 0.45 - What's New? (Slight Delay) (Patreon)

Hey everyone,

We have an important update regarding the release of A Town Uncovered. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we must delay the release for a week. I have fallen ill and been bedridden for quite a while, which has made it difficult to complete the planned work.

As you know, we have been working on the main story and Effie's story in parallel. Roberto is focused on Effie's story, while I am handling the main story. Unfortunately, Effie's story won't be included until after the main story content.

We are doing our best to restructure things to better fit how we want to end the main story and conclude this long journey. It's been a challenging and stressful time, but we're optimistic that we'll get most, if not all, the main story writing done in the coming 2 updates. In the meantime, we will be using temporary CG assets as placeholders.

However, I have some good news to share. We plan to release the 2-week access by the 10th, which means the delay will only be a week. We need the extra time to ensure that the game meets our standards.

We appreciate your patience and understanding during this surprisingly stressful, and difficult development cycle, and we promise to keep you all updated on the progress of the game. Thank you for your support, and we can't wait for you all to see what we've been working on.
