Hey, guys. Hope you're all doing fine an dandy.

First off, I'd like to say that a lot of writing progress has been made to the main story. I wasn't able to do as much coding this past week aside from the remaining few hours of tonight as I'm writing this, as I've been putting much of my effort into working with Robert on the plot.

You should expect quite a bit of progress when the new update comes out but don't expect a complete main story just yet. I'm estimating another week or two before we've gotten all the important plot lines figured out from the very beginning to the very end. Honestly, it would be much easier if we didn't have the two universes to take into account but we do and going back and forth on what will work and what won't can be time consuming and sometimes our time spent brainstorming may not result in anything physical to show. That's the sad truth to this but we're thankful that you guys are understanding of this.

On the flip side of things, I'll be spending the rest of tonight and tomorrow working on implementing all the additional dialogue that's been written for the main story in the game and work on just having every scene connect to each properly, with or without any dialogue yet.

It is listed in the description that the coming update will release in the 3rd Quarter of the year, which would mean anytime between Early July or Late September. We won't say when exactly we plan to be done but we have an idea WHERE in the story we'd like to reach before releasing. Plus, including some new features and activities in the game.

I brought that up because I also want to mention an important change that will occur eventually in the reward tiers for when the coming update releases. And this I will reiterate in the next few updates as people may miss it.

The change will be that the $1 tier will no longer give out latest releases. The lowest tier you have to be pledged at to receive the latest update will be the $3 tier, no more lifetime-pledge amount. However, the $1 tier will still be available to be pledged at if that's what you choose to pledge each month while the version is still in development. When it comes out, you have the choice to pledge an extra $2 to play.

Since the very beginning, I've made A Town Uncovered available at the $1 tier and even playable for free for those who choose not to financially support the project. It now comes a time when there is fair amount of content to play through and now a larger chunk of new content with every update ever since we've changed out release model.

But do not worry, for the most part, you'll still be able to follow the project as a $1 patron. And even more, the previous version of the game will still be free to play if that's your jam. If you are already a $3 or higher patron, it doesn't really change anything for you. This mostly applies to current $1 patrons or those thinking of moving to the $1 tier in the future.

One more thing I'd like to add, I've added another member to A Team Uncovered and I will officially introduce them in the next update. Hopefully, I'll be able to hire more talented people in the near future and make A Town Uncovered's development as streamline and efficient as it always should've been.

Thank you for the continued support, guys! Sorry, for the long post. Take care. GeeSeki out!

So the $1 tier folks will still get updates to the game, just one release behind the others?

Basically you get the same game updates you'd get if you weren't pledging. You get the news feed, but no game benefit.
