My brother keeps telling me that the formula for a good/satisfying/well-paced ending is to have the beginning of the final arc take up the last 20% of the book. Book three is right on track to run about 100 chapters, and no more than 110. I began that final arc with the chapter I wrote last Friday, so I expect LF to be complete in 20-30 chapters. That means I'll only be writing for another 4-6 weeks before either taking a break to write something else, or beginning the editing process.

Now, what does that mean for you? You're about 2 weeks behind me, at the 5 chapters/week release rate. If I write 5 chapters, you get 5 chapters, so that shouldn't change.  When I complete LF, I'll continue to release it while moving to the next step, whatever I decide that is. When the last chapter is released, I'll send a copy of the MS Word document for each book, as it is at that time! That means you'll get to see the edits I've made since I started. I decided not to edit 'published' work because of the difficulty in maintaining those edits across platforms, but I have done some edits in my main draft.

Essentially, anyone who's a Patron at that time will get a free copy of the books, though there will be more changes before the final, published work.

I'd love to see you stick around as my Patron, but my next book won't be LitRPG. I have one YA and two kid's books to do, and then I'll get back to novel format with the 'Those Left Behind' series of standalone novels. 'Those Left Behind' will be books about what happens to the secondary characters after the villain or the hero is done with their adventure. I may also do some short stories about characters from LF, because many of them have a lot more story to tell.

I hope to see you all as we continue, but first, let's finish Legendary Farmer! Yay!

Wait, does this mean that if the pacing is off for the climax, it's my fault? 😳 Hmph, I'm not worried, 'cause Aspen and Rouge will pull it off! 😝
