Love this one. Your wolf drawings have very relatable expressions. Small note: the Beast of Gévaudan can't really have been a coyote hybrid, as coyotes only exist in the Americas. The Beast is more likely to have been wolves or wolf-dog hybrids. Though I have heard a theory that it was a subadult or female lion escaped from a local nobleman's menagerie. It was described as red or tawny in color and having a long tail with a tuft at the end. Which raises the interesting possibility of a countryside in full panic from attacks by a monster while the local noble sits on his estate sweating and hoping no one notices his lion is missing.

Yassss!!! I loved this so much!! Also, for next year, my hubs suggested Phantom of the Opera for Halloween if you didn’t want to do Zombies or some other such monster.
