I applaud this video since I have a strong East European background. I'm not significantly Polish but I am with Lithuania, and the pair have plenty of parallels especially with oppression.

Great video! Don't forget how Polish culture was attacked by McCarthyism in post-WW2 America, along with almost everything else related to Communism. It's not really "tough" not having access to this part of my heritage. By comparison, my Scottish ancestry is relegated to caber tosses and Braveheart parodies. (and great Doctor Who actors)

This was wonderful, and much-needed. I had no idea of Poland's democratic history, and I've wondered why so many Jews were in Poland. I know this was only a sketch, but it's all I have, for much of Polish history.
