Our friends at LEGO commissioned this video to promote their new Colosseum set (https://www.lego.com/en-us/product/colosseum-10276) and we had an absolute blast making it.

A bit out of the ordinary for us to be diving deep into architecture like this, but if you enjoyed it, let us know, because we will GLADLY make more of these types of videos! — (with or without corresponding LEGO architectural masterworks)

The History of the Colosseum (In LEGO!)

This video is sponsored by the LEGO Group. Learn more about the LEGO Colosseum here: https://www.lego.com/en-us/product/colosseum-10276 We'd like to thank our friends at LEGO for giving us this magnificent excuse to gush over some of the most beautiful architecture in history. This type of architectural-deep-dive is a little bit out of the ordinary for us, but it was lots of fun, so please do let us know if you found it interesting, as we'd be thrilled to do more! And now I shall sit quietly waiting for the racist-myth-busting-episode about how pyramids are a great way to stack rocks and have them stay stacked and how ALIENS is the world's current 41st worst conspiracy (thanks for the 40 new bad conspiracy theories, 2020)

Your cat cannot wait for you to finish so it can move into the empty box.

Ok also have the most important question I will never ask in my life: is Cleo as soft as she looks?

Blue, I'm sure you have a backlog of things to read, but I can't recommend "Rome is Burning" highly enough. Written by Anthony Barrett. It makes a VERY compelling case for Nero's reputation having taken an unjustified lashing historically. Abs it's really well written, which doesn't hurt.

Loved this one, but still don't know how big even the base of the Lego set is, next toe the helpful cat. I couldn't tell if the base was only htat one piece, or if there were others to be added.
