This month we can reveal we're bringing back the name submissions perk over the course of the game's development for the $25+ tiers where you will be able to put forward a name to be used for a ship that appears in the game. There will be no cap on submissions this time around with more information as well as the ability to post your submissions can be found in the pinned post under our Patreon 'About' section. Please note there are rules associated with submissions as well as Love in Space may apply its discretion and therefore a submission is not a guarantee of inclusion, although our intention is to include as many as possible. 

As one of the central mechanics planned for Legends will be the ability to capture ships and add them to your fleet, this means you will be able to seek out your ship and command, upgrade and allow it to serve as you see fit up until it is sunk. Time for you to establish and build a legend for your very own Boaty McBoatface.

Internal - In Progress

  • Thirteenth Internal Build: Our recent builds have been suffering a number of setbacks both in terms of recent implementations not behaving as expected and a spike in crashes that haven't always been the most clear in resolving - our aim is to get back on top of these. This started happening not long after the Legion was implemented into the game so we're going to blame it for this villainy when we've taken our eyes off it.

It certainly packs the firepower to rival our own developer tools, those red dots each represent a cannon available to it.

Currently the internal build play up to a point roughly equivalent to where Versta was in First Arrival.

  • Sound: Continued assessment and tweaking of the game's soundtrack.

  • CGs and Backgrounds: Below Decks of the Sunrider BG.

  • CGs and Backgrounds: A number of these are still currently stuck in the pipeline, we're working on unblocking them at which point we will share more.

  • Interfacing: Further prototyping and refining on the game's UI.
