I’ll pass on this one. Definitely not my kinda movie. But I hope you girls enjoy it and I know a lot of people are so happy you’re watching this.

Wow!!! I was chomping at the bit for Star Trek 4, but I'm happy to wait another couple of days to watch this!!

Bill Maurer

Filmed in Canada

I would love to see solo Cassie react to something you've already seen. One of the big ones like Shawshank or Green Mile. If you feel awfully feindish, I recommend The thing, or Alien.

there is no way you can watch the movie Rambo. where Rambo saves some missionaries after they are kidnapped. that one is my favorite but it is brutal.

This was a pleasant surprise! Truthfully, I had given up, but now so pleased and grateful for something spontaneous. This is a favorite and yet another one that showcases Stallone’s acting prowess. Sylvester Stallone is one of only two (2) actors whose performance have brought me to tears more than once. BTW - LOL you ladies should know by now not to judge a movie by its title (Lethal Weapon, Die Hard, The Mummy, etc) 😁

We SERIOUSLY do not treat our veterans the way they DESERVE. It's truly disgraceful how many veterans don't get the medical or psychological care that they need, least of all the reimbursement for the services they render to protect OUR freedoms. It's insane how we have a system THIS BROKEN.

Craig Russell

THANK YOU! Now do the next four!

Russell Teo

Remembered only a few parts when he snatched the scrambler bike, spike booby trap, stitching up his arm when I watched this with my last father in a theater when I was just 3yo

Alright so. This movie was based on a book, it was a single novel and it actually had a tougher ending than this movie did. The sequels that come after this movie are NOT based on the book, and to be honest, they almost completely go against what the book was all about, they turn this character from an allegory for PTSD Vietnam Vets trying to reconnect to civilian life and they turn it into a patriotic? Action series. The last couple movies get back to a bit of the spirit that this first movie captures, but I'll put my vote towards ending the series here. I think this movie stands alone better than as a part of the series it became.

If Carly has not seen the Raiders movies, I'd love to see her react to the first three at the very least!

What’s even crazier I remember in Sears catalogs in the toy section next to GIJOE, Transformers, He-Man and Batman were Rambo toys. Action figure toys. It transcends from what the first movie was into the 80s blockbuster. That said I still really like the second Rambo movie as it is about a proactive positive use of Rambo’s skills.

You both should see this franchise through to the Last Blood. I would love to see your reaction to all of them.

Walter

this movie is 42 years old and it's fantastic. I guess I was 9-years old when I saw this in the theaters. First Blood is an excellent action-drama. The sequels really drop the drama and lay on the action. They are good for what they are, but this is the crown jewel of the franchise (IMO).

Just catching up with a few reactions hence the late comment. The first Rambo for me is one of his best movies and up there with Rocky. The rest are just generic action films especially the 2nd & 3rd mainly because that’s what was popular in the 80s. I wouldn’t have a problem if you didn’t watch the rest as I don’t really think they are your sort of think & tbh it’s very rare I watch them I just tend to just watch the first one. And unlike this one which has an important message and just show how bad the vets got treated who served in Vietnam when they returned home. Which is crazy when you think about it because it’s not like they choose the war especially the one who got drafted.

Late to this but yes, Carly should definitely do a solo reaction based on your (Cassie) recommendation.
