Weeeellll for security reasons I didn't want to announce the exact time we were going to Philly but we went, we ran, we conquered! It was so cool to be there, to see how much of an iconic thing Rocky is for the city! We also caught a casual Taylor Swift concert while we were there and can I just say EEEEEESJkgs'o/lhges;idhgbi;ehGI;  We are going to do a full Philly video Vloggy thing at some point!!

I was going to try to write this whole update post in a combo of Rocky quotes and Taylor Swift lyrics but I didn't get too far.

This week we have TRUE LIES (finally!) What will be the new #1 on the app now? Tomorrow Never Dies and For the Love of the Game, needed to complete the KC Baseball Trifecta, plus Spring+baseball+popcorn just seem right! Carly is watching all 3 with me, so that means FTLOTG will prob be Monday next week, thats even with me making her sleep over so we can do a double feauture.

Next week is our Seven Sam Mag Week-the title needs work I know! AAnnndd Thheeeennnn (no and then) a couple of you suggested we do a Bruce Willis Poll (we are going to watch die hard 3 anyways so that won't be on the poll) but let me know what should be on it!

Ok as always "Can I go where you go? Can we always be this close forever and ever?” but really "some want it all, but all I want is you" (slipped in the quotes after all)

Cassie

(The original Taylor, and current Taylor)

I tried to find out if you already watched the 5th Element with Bruce. If not, highly recommend it. the search functions on Patreon are somehow lacking though

Check her patrons FAQ, she has a link to a list of what she has wacthed already either on here or in the past. If you have a specific movie in mind, narrowing down to the exact year and looking is typically the easiest way to find out. And based of the list (which is memory based so may not be 100% accurate lol) doesnt seem like she has watched that.

What about a silent era poll? Chaplain and Buster Keaton

What about the movie The Big Country? I know this is a movie both Cassie and Carly would enjoy. Maybe your mom has seen it. And if she has and she gives you an enthusiastic thumbs up, perhaps you'll consider watching it with your sister. It stars Gregory Peck and Charleston Heston.

And Lloyd, I am sure you are aware of his many stunts while missing fingers. All three were amazing talents. Amazing to think its been more than a century. Chaplain's speech at the end of The Great Dictator is spot on for our 21st century. Cassie and Carly would need to know the history of that time to get the subtext of his humor, for that particular movie.

I recommend another movie, not many have seen. Escape From Sobibor. The only time Jews escaped from a concentration camp. Not too many people remember Alan Arkin, he was in many comedic movies of the 70s and 80s. But I am sure Cassie will remember Rutger Haugher...not sure about the spelling...he was the android in Blade Runner. Cassie you were able to handle Schindler's List, that is why as sad as a Holocaust film could be, you'll be able to handle Escape From Sobibor. Its a true story. I feel it would be too intense for Carly.
