Guys I loved it! I want to go to Rome now haha, add it to my POPtour :) Audrey Hepburn is soooo beautiful. I cannot stop thinking about THAT ENDING, trying to make peace. It was so sweet and romantic and steamy without being steamy and just what I needed! Hope you enjoy!

Even though Technicolor films started in the 30s, B+W movies were still very common up through to the early sixties.

The ending is what makes the movie. They both had their one perfect day escape. Both changed for the better, but the day only works without any cares or responsibilities. Life would tarnish their pure adventure and love. Gregory Peck's ending slow walk is that of a man hoping she will come out, but he understands the Princess must have one love above all, her country.

One movie that doesn't get enough love is "Wait Until Dark". An excellent thriller.

I'm so glad you saw this movie. It's my favorite Audrey Hepburn film. It was really nice to see you so engrossed by it. Although it's not a happy ending, it could not have been more memorable.
