This intro…Love it. I can seriously see you two doing the Cassy and Carly Show. This one was tough to watch. I’ve mentioned before my Mother in Law’s twin died of cancer. Seeing Rocky in treatment just brought back all those memories 😢 Great Movie, great reaction.

The first time I saw Michael B. Jordan was in the Excellent TV show "The Wire" one of the greatest shows of all time. He is very young and does an amazing job. The show is on HBO it is a heartbreaking show, about the city of Baltimore, but has great drama and has so many great performances. It also has Idris Elba., which is a plus.

Such a fun reaction . . . thank you both, as usual! I understand why y'all wanted to get a glimpse of Milo Ventimilglia, but I think there's a reason why he didn't even have a cameo. Ryan Coogler did a spectacular job of moving the Rocky saga along, but essentially, this was Adonis Creed's story. That's why you didn't see ANY of the characters from "Rocky Balboa:" not Little Marie, not Robert, not Duke Sr., not Paulie. They weren't relevant to the Creed saga, which is apparently gonna be a whole new thing — although I doubt it will last as long as the Rocky franchise! Anyway, hurry and watch "Creed II!" Your audience has no patience at all!

If we're just going by films that have "Rocky" in the title, BALBOA is my favorite since the first one, but if we include the CREED movies as part of the series (which I do), I think this is the best one since the original one. You can just see the inspiration contained in his frames. This is a story being told by a director who doesn't just want to make money but who actually wants to tell it, who has something to say, who is personally invested in the characters (and their world), and who is a master craftsman. There is nothing at all jaded or cynical about this film. It has heart and it has balls. This is how you reboot a franchise. I can't wait for you to watch the sequel.

I love it! It’s actually a story that’s continued really well. I’m still a fan of the original Rocky above all else, but they did a good job here.

Young Michael B. Jordan has a small role in Red Tails, it's a WW II movie. I really hope it makes the poll for the Memorial Day movie!

I had some misgivings going into this, as it would have been very easy to fall into various traps, but Ryan Coogler earned my respect. (I was less happy with the sequel (which Coogler was not really involved with), but we'll leave that for another day.)

I wasn't able to comment until now, as the first thirty seconds of this video were just too visually jarring. I was rotating my screen along all axes, standing upside down, and overall just having a full-blown anxiety attack. Even now, I have to block out the "screen-cap" on top. How could you do this to us? :-)

When you tie up, your both kind of right. Boxing is so enduring. Avg gym person in good shape struggles with 3 rounds. The best know how to be relaxed but in focus the whole time. But the tie (hug) is yes a way to rest, and tie your arms between his so he cant swing, and rest. But also if the bigger fighter, you can put your weight on the opponent, thus resting a bit while wearing him down still with just putting weight on him. If hurt, its a way to buy time, or stay up. Also if you box out to in, its a way to combo while coming in, then hold. You get pushed apart by the ref, and do the same thing. A few combos coming in, and tie up. So its used various ways.

And as far as another one "movie,,,," its pretty interesting. Try not to look up anything about it. Not saying its Rocky 1 or 2, just a unique circle sequel to this.

You wouldn’t hold if you’re going out to in because then you’d have to reset and make yourself open to the jab outside again. It’s the outside fighter wanting to hold when the other guy gets in because he wants the reset. Otherwise I agree with everything said.

Can’t wait for y’all to get to Creed II. Just for the fight scenes alone lol. Hope it comes out soon. Also, I have loved seeing you go through the Rocky/Creed series. Most people dismiss them as just boxing movies, but they’re love stories and about overcoming the odds, and the fact that y’all get that is beautiful.
