Dirk? Email alerts for Youtube? Patreon? I have had issues in the past... Sometimes notifications get turned off with updates to apps, or operating systems... I have to go back thru and reset all my notifications sometimes...

Not totally unrelated - Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver were in X-Men. Probably an unpopular opinion, but I enjoyed the original XMen films (1, 2, 3 and Wolverine: Origins) better than the newer ones (First Class, Days of Future Passed, Apocalypse). Perhaps they were not that loyal to the comics/canon, but they were just more entertaining for me.

Definitely not an unpopular opinion. X-Men 3 was abysmal, but 1&2 are normally regarded as the best. The last couple look terrible. Haven't even bothered to see them.

They did a REALLY good job of tying in the "other" movies with the latest Spiderman movie. Almost makes it worth watching them first before watching the MCU Spiderman series.

That series is a bit of a mess. I don't know if I would want a total newbie to invest in anything more than the first two, maybe the third one just to see how a disappointing end to a trilogy would look like. Oh right, she's going to watch SW9. *ducks for cover*

Yeah, I wouldn't want her to watch all of them, but what I consider the "main" (or good) ones like X-MEN, X2, FIRST CLASS, DAYS OF FUTURE PAST and LOGAN are worth seeing.
