If you don’t like country then you just haven’t found the right count music for you. If you want just ask! Love country new and old.

Does anybody know the song writer or song title for the synthwave music she often uses for her YouTube videos intro/outro? I dig it.

Since I wouldn't want you to forget my oh-so-important opinion, I'll repeat my previous advice that now that you've seen Maverick, the most logical order in which to watch the "remaining" Westerns is: 1. Tombstone 2. The Good, the Bad and the Ugly 3. Unforgiven (Lengthy explanation in my comment at the end of https://www.patreon.com/posts/upcoming-60958817 )

Now that you’ve watched this movie you need to watch The Lethal Weapon films. Director Richard Donner also made The Omen, The Goonies and Superman: The Movie.

I agree with the short list as well. Although 'Open Range' is my favorite it's followed directly by Tombstone.

James Garner played Brett Maverick in the original Maverick tv series back in 1957, so in this one he plays his dad.

Here are my suggestions for westerns I think you'd like: * The Big Country (1958) (my all time favorite movie!, Gregory Peck, Charlton Heston, Jean Simmons, Burl Ives...) * The Man Who Shot Liberty Valence (1962) (Jimmy Stewart, John Wayne. ) * The Searchers (1956) (One of John Wayne's best, IMNSHO with Natalie Wood.)

Maverick is a great comedy western as far as comic entertainment goes. Unforgiven is a great example of a dramatic Western, but my all-time favorite, be all and all, top of the line Western is open range with Kevin Costner, Robert Duvall and Annette Bening, followed by Tombstone, followed by True Grit! 🤣😂👍🏻😀

Don't know if this is the right thread but new at this patreon stuff. It looks like UNFORGIVEN is coming up soon which in my opinion is a pity. I think it's one of the all time greatest films simply because it takes the entire Western genre and flips it on it's head and it does it with the most famous western actor both directing and starring. I don't know if any film in cinema history has really managed to do the same thing. In my opinion it is great because it shows a new side of western films and I wish she would have seen some Clint Eastwood westerns before seeing it to appreciate it more. Oh well... will still be interesting to see the reaction.

May I recommend a few more westerns that you may enjoy? -Support Your Local Sheriff -Support Your Local Gunfighter -El Dorado -Rio Bravo -Quigley Down Under -War Wagon -Tombstone

I hope that she gets a round to watching them. They are all good movies and there are so many more.

Tombstone is a great one for sure... as is Quigley Down Under
