Hey everyone! Here is the full reaction to Terminator 2: Judgement Day! I invited Carly over to watch this one with me (don't worry she watched T1 with some friends) and it did not disappoint! We ended up watching the theatrical release. Hope you guys enjoy!

Here is the YT edit for this reaction.

Find your own copy to watch a long with.

[Full Reaction] Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991)

I'd definitely watch more. 3 has Claire Danes, another has Christian Bale. LOTS of good Terminators left!

"Just punch him" Hahahaha, that was cute

JPDotCom23

"If he turns into a molten lava monster, I'm done", hahaha

whats the point of watching these when the movie is blocked out and no sound? thats not a full reaction

Catherine LW

You’re supposed to use your own copy or stream it. If she played the unblurred video, she’d get hit with copyright violations. It IS a full reaction, uncut unlike YouTube reactions.

I'm new as a patron, is there anywhere here that describes the best set up for watching my own copy and the reaction at the same time. I kind of figured a method out but wondered if there was an easy way that everyone uses?

Matt G

It's virtually impossible to sync it 100% perfect because you can't press play on both her reaction and your copy at the exact same time. What I do is roll the opening credits on my own copy, find a part where some text just starts coming up, so it's not fully come up, but just started appearing. I pause my copy right there, then start playing the reaction video. and wait until her reaction video starts showing the very same text, then press play on my copy at that exact moment they look identical. Again, it's not 100% perfect, but as close as you're going to get.

Dean A

Hey, thanks for that. I don't have a problem syncing - I guess everyone does it pretty much as you describe. I was thinking more of how to play both videos simultaneously on the same screen. Like I say, I figured out a method that works - just wondered if there was one simple way that all the veterans use. Maybe even a special app?

I'd recommend VLC and use View Option > Minimal Interface (CTRL+H), but you could use any media player really.

I just paid to see your full reaction of this movie specifically, and low and behold, i found out the hard way... NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! You were both watching the censored Theatrical Cut version. I implore you to watch the extended version, please please please!! This version has scenes that literally makes no sense what-so-ever. This version doesn't have the crazy amazing scenes like when they take the chip out of Arnie's head to reset the switch so he can start learning new stuff. This version doesn't have the scene that explains why the T-1000 does the weird scaley thing in the steel mill. You guys literally missed out on like 20 minutes of footage :O FeelsBadMan

Chris Reise

And now that you LITERALLY spoiled those scenes by telling Cassie what happens in them, she doesn't really have to watch it now, does she?

John Rando

Extended version was wack! Any movie that comes out with an extended edition a decade and a half later is obviously someone looking for a cash grab. Completely unnecessary.

Dustin Denner

Na. This version is the better version. It didn't need all of the unnecessary scenes and the happy "Michael Jackson turned 40" ending was too out of place.

the CPU scene does give some insight into some things, and it is cool how they shot the scene with the mirror and all . I would say it is worth it. also it does give insight into why Dyson was working on the CPU so it kind of does fit in the story ...

Ry Jo

also, the whole "meet the pilot" scene gives some depth to Dyson and shows what his initial intent with the new processor is. but who knows if it was Dyson or Cyberdyne that went for all the military contracts? at first Dyson seems to just want to better mankind with that scene but later on time who knows maybe he did see the money and the military contracts and decide it be better idk.

The whole point is that Skynet paniced when they thought they were about to be defeated and so they altered time accidentally trapping themselves in a temporal death loop resulting in the existence of their primary enemy but if they had simply not panicked the resistance and john would have disappeared at the last moment. If Skynet never initiated time-travel then John would never have existed.

I STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU SKIP STRAIGHT TO TERMINATOR DARK FATE AS JAMES CAMERON INTENDED.

I just now sat down to watch this and loved your reaction. I hadn't seen the movie since it came out and it was an amazing vicarious experience. Also - I'm holding off to re-watch Point Break (IMHO one of the other BEST films of the 90's) but I'm not sure I can hold out much longer. Hope it comes soon or I might have to just give in without you!
