Hey would love to watch, but the video is not working

Ed Sharron

So glad you liked this great movie! It's one my friends and I quote all the time. Still holds up really well even 24 years later. Was really fun watching with you. Thanks Cassie!

Welcome to the world of Guy Ritchie gangster films - where cockney rhyming slang is king and Jason Statham is made into an international star through the power of the grimace and gruff voice.

Baldielox

Your reaction was excellent, Cassie. You were really into the film and that lets us know you really like it. Guy Ritchie is the boss of English gangster/action films. They are what you might call 'very full' and you have to really pay attention to get it all.

Kevin Grande

Great job Cassie. It has been a while since I've watched this movie and I forgot it was this good. I think your Twitch idea is awesome and gets two thumbs up from me.

If you enjoyed that, you may like Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels. One of the stars played Martin in Band of Brothers too. Also, if you didn't notice in Snatch, the guy who played Tommy, also played in the first two episodes of Band of Brothers as well.

Really enjoyed your reaction. It was funny when you said you didn’t know who you were rooting for just before Avi wanted to kill the dog, which decided it. 😆 Guy’s other films similar to this one are Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels (1998) and The Gentlemen (2019). Just as good. Also, when your husband wants action and you want romance, try Troy. It’s epic and beautiful and has Brad Pitt in a mesmerizing role. (Do a reaction to it first though. It has great rewatchability.) Almost forgot: The Keanu Reeves/Sandra Bullock film you were thinking of is Speed (1994). Good action flick.

Yeah Cassie, I think that would be a fun idea doing a amazon watch party/twitch. Maybe a movie you’ve been wanting to watch would be cool.

Zachary

I don't think much of this film. "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels" is better.

Brad Pitt worked really hard on his accent, but when they started filming, no one could understand him. So they wrote it into the movie that way, where no one could understand him. I thought that was clever and funny. Btw, he actually did a great job. When an Irish YT channel did a reaction to it, they understood him perfectly.

Cassie Tremblay

Ok now I really want to watch those other two! My mind automatically is more attracted to the more recent one, but I’ve now learned I missed SO much movie magic missing “older” films thinking that way! Also, I watched Troy soo many times in high school, need to watch again! Brad Pitt forever ha

Guy Ritchie, former husband of Madonna!? Am I wrong there? He did a film, Revolver, which pretty much bombed, and not many folks like. Which is fine. It's very personal for me, because it helped me deal with anxiety, ego, fears, and more. The end credits of Revolver are several noted psychologists, and scholars talking about Ego, and how it can really mess you up. After I watched it, my life changed for the better, so it's a personal milestone for me. You can find the end credits scene on youtube, "ego revolver end credits" (https://youtu.be/0dRK73wEFS0) it's only 1:45 and does not spoil anything. 2-3 scenes in the film stand out, 'Sorter shootout' 'restaurant scene' and 'destructive angel' are all short, and free on YT if you want a glimpse of the film.

I absolutely love the dialogue and all the witty one liners throughout this movie! The making of doco of Snatch is even funnier than the movie. And it shows the scene with all the car crashes - when Avi and Tony crash into the pole, they later show how the pole actually went through the bottom of the car and ended up between the stunt drivers feet! Guy Ritchie was in stitches! Remember the caravan boys - perrywinkle blue!

A very similar film to this is "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels" great film as was "snatch" Great reaction, really enjoyed

Sorry, I just recently joined and am watching old reactions so you might not even see this comment but I think you would like “Get Shorty”. It’s a clever movie that has twists and turns and a bonus bit of a love story in the mix. You’d recognize a lot of the cast too. Just a suggestion, really, if not on the channel, for your personal time maybe (if you even get any with all this going on).

Videos not working for me.
