Update 2: Power is back up, which means I can get back to writing. Give me a day or two and I'll have a new chapter up for you. Thank you, everyone, for being so understanding.

Glad to hear y'all are safe and the damage is fixable. I'm not stranger to hurricanes, grew up on Texas Gulf Coast, and I know the challenges they bring. Take great care, rather have you writing once you get everything sorted out to the writing we'd get if you were doing while trying to sort everything out.

Congrats to you all take you time with everything we’re all in no rush :)

Nature can be a bitch. We had our own flooding issues over here last year, wouldn't recommend. Take care and good luck.

John McCormick

Take your time to get your stuff fixed, your lives put back in order and we will be right here waiting for you and your writings of great literature.

Glad you all made it through.

Salvage48

Glad everything is ok. Extreme weather always sucks. Take what time you need.

Jerry Wright

Thank Merlin that you and yours are safe

Dr.Scribe

Glad you are safe.

Hacura

Glad you are safe. Property can be replaced. People can’t. Take care.

LockNesTom

Hope clean up has is going well. Bad water damage or repairable?

James Trammell

The main thing is that you and your family are safe. We can all wait a few days if need be.

Professor Quill

You might be willing to, and I greatly appreciate that, but I've already lost a decent amount of patrons this morning. quite a bit more than usual for the first. If I'm going to be able to pay fore some of the stuff I need to replace, I need to get working. Hopefully I can earn most of those back quickly.

Patreon is a weird place. A hurricane seems like a good enough reason for a few days delay. As a heating engineer I have seen far worse delays for infinitely worse reasons. "My wife doesn't like the design, are there alternatives?". In a room she has not entered in 20 years. People are insane.

Good to hear. I hope y'all came through with comparatively minimal damage (yeah, I know, "minimal" in relation to what a hurricane can do is an inexact term. Still, take the time you need to geting everything sorted before plunging back into writing.
