Grimdark Future Lore Focus #2

Every week we're highlighting the lore of a few factions for each of our games, and this week we're focusing on the Robot Legions, High Elves, Dark Elves, and Elven Jesters and how the prosperity of the elven homeworlds turned to war.

You can read it here on our website.

Mission Packs - New Missions

Here's the 8 missions you're getting this month:

  • Grimdark Future – Behemoth Cannon + Abyssal Rifts
  • GF: Firefight – Rundown Retrieval + Failed Negotiations
  • Age of Fantasy – Flooded Delta + Mystic Dawn
  • AoF: Skirmish – Cackling Brew + Eye of the Vortex

These missions are focused on fun new ways to play, with interesting objectives and special rules to spice things up. We release new missions every month, so make sure to stick around so that you don’t miss any.

Note that whilst the missions are designed for each specific game, you can totally play them with the rules for any other game (with slight adjustments). This means that you have even more missions to play each month!

Make sure to download the missions before the end of the month, as they aren’t sent out via WGV/DTRPG, and are not stored anywhere for future access.

2D Print - New Saurians Minis + New War Daemons Minis

We've got some new paper miniature packs for you to enjoy, with the Saurians Set #5 and the War Daemons Set #2.

These sets feature a ton of minis with front and back views in two different color schemes, as well as black & white. They also include black border versions of the minis, plus VTT tokens to play online.

Make sure to download the PSDs before the end of the month, as they aren’t sent out via WGV/DTRPG, and are not stored anywhere for future access.

3D Print - New Previews

At the top you'll see previews of some of the models that will be released in June. We start of with two of the heroes of the Human Empire, beginning with the General. This commander can march into battle with options for them to represent all five elements with their armor and weapons. Next the Standard Bearer is ready to rally the troops and strike fear into the hearts of their foes.

For the Alien Hives we also bring you heroes and fear, starting with the Prime Gunner showing off some of the many weapon options that it can field as it leads Alien Hives troops across the battle. The massive Burrower is ready to surprise their foes as it bursts onto the field.

Please remember that these are early WIP shots of the models, and not the final versions of the models.

That's it for this week, happy wargaming!

Captain Karnage

are we going to be seeing any of the elf and dwarf factions in the near future on the fantasy side

Explorer

I can’t wait to print that standard bearer! Thank you for giving us male/female options.

Erik Waring

Just a female head on a male body. This patreon is terrified of doing female proportions. Its always female heads on male bodies. (And female proportions doesn't mean sexualized models.)

While we hope to eventually release every faction for our games, we don't have anything specifically to announce at this time.

Larry Gato

I think the same , it would be great to have some female boddies for the different units.

Explorer

Body shapes are hidden under layers of armor. But you could have a point regarding the size of female hands. Personally, I don’t care.

T.W. Falconer

I think the same. The female head on a male body gives me a disconnect. The upper torso in particular is just too bulky to pass as a female.

Hydralisk!

What's with all the monsters having all this tongue action? Maybe toning it down?

BradyA

I think some of them should have their mouths closed, they all have a mouth-breather appearance.

Again tactical rocks everywhere for the empire soldiers. Come on, it is not difficult to add also a non tactiocal rock version for old school gamers...

I really like the route you guys are going for on the Empire. So far they have been a joy to print. I also love the fact that you guys do the combined full models, I am older and hate gluing stuff up. Also thanks for including the female models as well, my wife enjoys painting "powerful women".

Shadow fund

Yeah it's not a great true range of female body types. But maybe one day we will get it

Kyle Toth

I have a question. Do the winners of the Painting comp still get a bottle of resin?
