Hi everyone,

The November Painting Contest is over, and the winners are:

  • 1st Place - CM Minis
  • 2nd Place - Skip

I don't mean to imply someone is cheating but they all have the same background behind the models but only with different lighting. Guess to win you need not just a good model but a good backdrop. Or the best painters also have good backdrops.

Looks good. Wish I could have entered. I'm not exactly thrilled that a professional painter is able to win all the time though.

We welcome painters of all skill levels, and have a random bonus prize in order to encourage even entry-level painters to give it a shot. We're not aware of any professional painters taking part in the contest, but if we see that the same painters are winning too many times in a row, then we will set some sort of limit. :)

Congratulations winners, really interesting seeing all the different choices. It hadn't occurred to me to have the sleeves painted as a different material than the other "bone like" pieces. Nice work all around.

It's all good. I thought you were with cmon, as you get that when you try to find CM minis. If you're not, then I take it back. I'm trying to find the time to get printing again, maybe I'll get half as good as you
