Yeah I think Hoshi is really just someone who wants to spread positive energy around him because his mindset is literally centered around positivity, too. I like that about him. 🥰 And I had the privilege of being able to attend their Ode to You concert here in Manila (their last one, internationally) (and I was still a baby Carat back then as in literally 1-2mos old baby Carat) and!! HE IS JUST SO FULL OF ENERGY. I remember laughing so much and just having so much fun during intro ment of the members and especially on his turn because I was like, “Damn, who is this guy and why does he has soooo much energy in his body?” HAHAHA one GoSe episode wherein they do MBTI is true. He really likes getting attention but sometimes gets so shy once he gets it. God, I love this man. 🐯 rawr

I was pretty sure after watch this ep, that he didn't talk about the pressure of being a choreographer because he didn't want to be a "burden" to his fans. He talks about this a lot, especially during the early interviews, project seventeen etc. And also I know that he probably knew we would be a mess considering what happend to s.coups and jeonghan. Always trying to keep everyone's spirits up.

OH AND HAVE YOU SEEN HOSHI MAD??? Like, pissed-off-i’m-gonna-shove-this-shit-under-the-table MAD?? You should watch One Fine Day in Yeosodo and in Japan!! The one I’m talking about where Hoshi got pissed off is in Japan one but both are good series!!! I really recommend it!!! Both very old series too but they hold a v special place in every Carats hearts. You can check like17subs for the whole series! 💙✨

Yeah, I figured that would be his thinking because honestly the way he talks about choreographing and everything. There would be no way that it wouldn't get to him sometimes. He's so considerate but I hope he does share to those he trusts so he doesn't bottle it all up.

Both series are just pure abuse by not letting them eat during the first one and creating unhealthy competition in the second. They actually got food in the first series by begging the people that lived nearby and the staff members took it away anyway. And the second...dude, no wonder he got mad. Pretty sure a lot of carats were actually mad at the mistreatment because one fine day for other groups was actual rest but for svt it was a survival show.

I just saw it as very unfair because from their faces you could see they didn't know what was going on (during the first OFD) and that they were dissapointed. I know in the end they said it was great and that they were happy, but the start to that series is just heartbreaking and exploitation of young idols. In my opinion.

2023-04-13 07:44:02 i really love hoshi's personality, it's impossible to not like him. he's just so special :) also i relate so much when u mentioned that u can't imagine him struggling. even though i believe he has strong mentality, it's really great that he have so many good friends around to talk about personal concerns and struggles. in recent talk show he appeared as a guest (superjunior D&E show), he mentioned that he went to eunhyuk to talk about his concerns & ask for advise. this moment popped up my head when u mentioned about hoshi and his burdens. :)

@Otter, now I feel I really need to see it. Especially when there are two sides to this. I mean two side as in two ways of viewing the experience. I've heard carats say this a lot, about their mistreatment but ive never actually seen what they have been through. I love discussions like these because we really learn about things you otherwise don't. Especially given that they were so young. I was already boiling from the short clip i saw on tiktok about the Hoshi incident. Now hearing that they were kinda setup in way is wild. I wonder what else comes forward when we watch it again. Unless you have objections against it?

I would actually love it if you recorded a reaction to it. It's insightful to see other people's view. Your reactions to in the soop especially were great cause you really saw them as people. I was really impressed you actually called out the "stuffing his face" part about seungkwan and the whole running and not resting cause I'm already so used to stuff like that in kpop that I ignored that which made me look back on myself and why thats so normal to me already. In the end One Fine Day ended on a positive note, both series, but holy fck that first part to series 1 did not need to happen. I watched that and quit midway, only came back after getting assured on reddit that the abuse doesn't continue past a certain episode and they are actually starting to have fun.

I love your reactions! Hoshi is my ult bias I love him so much he is such a good performer and so kind and cute. He always makes me happy and always makes me laugh I remember Woozi once said that Hoshi off cameras is quit and when Hoshi without the members he gets shy
