Oh yes that was what happened. They not allowing cigarette in the manga cover, hence hijikata (and matsudaira) in the volume cover is without his cigarette. Sorachi's really bitter about it lol said they don't look like them without their cigs

Sorachi's gender is Gorilla. In honor of Toriyama-sensei, a little bit trivia. Toriyama-sensei once said that his daughter had never really read his works, said she's not interested. But one time he looked at her reading something like (he expected) dragon ball. Turned out it's Gintama this very chapter lol. Can't you imagine how happy gorilla when he heard this :) More trivia from dragon ball eps, all the DB characters in this eps was voiced by the Gintama VAs. Kagura voicing Dende, Shinpachi voicing Kobayashi/Goku/Yamcha, Yamazaki voicing Breeza, Sougo voicing Shenlon, Gintoki voicing Cello, even though they have the original Cell's VA in Gintama which is Wakamoto Norio-san, your favorite Matsudaira voice. He voiced the legendary earthling in this eps LMAO, Gintama is wild man. This eps also become one of the Gintama LA live action 😂
