so many of you may be wondering why this hasnt gotten any update and only rough drawings. I am here to explain

This comic was originally planned to be heavy NSFW content that features thailand's culture. it was planned 3-4 months ago with a finished outline and character design. It contains explicit public sexual intercourse and  LGBT relationship.

However, due to the political movement  in my country, students are revolting against the government and believes that their white uniform and bow tie is a symbol of purity/ freedom / democracy.

which means the NSFW content that I planned would literally taint that symbol because the characters are in the said uniform. If things get shared around, we could be potentially be a target for threats and center of attention in the social media.

I still want to use this character because there is no character from my country that gets represented in the tg community yet. I want to give it another go and if this comic doesn't do well then we will move on to the next project entirely.

I sincerely apologize for the sudden and I hope you'll will still support Fah Sai regardless. (T^T)

Would there be a way to change the uniform? It would be less authentic but if it saves your neck that's a fair tradeoff :/ Like light blue or purple shirts instead at the least.

Sorry to hear about the political blockades for your storytelling. But I totally get your reasoning. I hope we get to see Thailand represented in your art soon. :) That said, I believe you meant "explicit public sexual intercourse". "Sexual intermission" would be taking a break in the middle of sex, lol.

This is a very complicated situation indeed. I honestly support whatever's your decision regarding that issue. I just don't understand what do you plan on doing. Do you plan on still posting Fah Sai, but only in here so it wouldn't be posted on social media, or not at all/later?

meowwithme

that could be one option but then i wouldn't be able to promote it anywhere. :T

I recognize the circumstances and the issues. Personally, unless I knew that I would be directly under threat and/or risk of harm, I would publish as-is. And, if people started to complain, I would take their complaints and publish something that offends them even more.
