The antiproton cannon was a directed energy weapon based on antiprotons. The Emerald Chain flagship Viridian was equipped with an array of antiproton cannons inside its hangar. In 3189, these cannons opened fire on USS Discovery after the crew retook the ship. (DIS: "That Hope Is You, Part 2")
