Late comments, but I just got here. Couple of tidbits: Robin Tunney, who played Debra, really shaved her head. She filmed The Craft around the same time and in some scenes in The Craft she’s wearing a noticeable wig because her head was still shaved from Empire Records. The Dazed and Confused connection is from Rory Cochran who played Lucas in Empire and played Slater in Dazed and Confused. Zellwiger was also in Dazed, but she had a really small part and you can’t really see her face - she was driving one of the pickup trucks through the car wash. This was already a cult classic back in the 90s. One of my high school teachers in ‘98 played it for us after class (year book club). She was a fan of the movie and several other students were fans as well, me included.
