I've been thinking about dropping Vimeo for a while now and a few of you have asked SO:

-- that would mean moving the full reactions to Private YouTube videos. YT will copyright me if I leave the small blurred video in the corner (I've tried this) BUT I can start uploading full reactions to YouTube with the movie timecode on screen with me shown in fullscreen.

Is this a format you're interested in? I'd imagine it won't be perfect but it can't be more than a second or two off.

Not voting since while I’d prefer one I want you to go with whichever option makes your life easier. Neither way will impact my support via Patreon

Aw thanks I think either works for me too, it's just a matter of one or the other and not having to upload two versions in two places 😅

I agree - whichever is best for you and makes life easiest. I suppose what I'd look at is whether Vimeo is really driving much in the way of your traffic in relation to the work you are putting into it. If you have been considering it for a bit, it sounds like it doesn't. I don't think I should vote on this just because I'm not a Vimeo person anyway, but I appreciate the consideration 😊

It's easier to synch with the visuals over a synching with a timecode, but ultimately I don't care that much.

I like to watch the movie and then watch you watch the movie. This way I can focus on what you have to say and not have to concentrate on the movie and you. For example I'll watch Empire Records tomorrow night and then I'll do the watch along on Saturday. So I like the blurry movie in the corner so I know where we are in the movie.
