hahha yes I'm so happy! I was nervous to do this one justice! 100% enjoyed! I'm loving the teen movies SO much

Even though it didn't win the 70's movie poll,( gotta point out that Fast Times is an 80s movie), I hope you react to Dazed & Confused sometime in the future.

I realize why you didn't like the cards at the end, but I personally think it was Lucas's way of giving a respectful nod to the real youngsters who inhabited the era portrayed by the actors in this fictional story and to what so many of those real kids would soon have to face.

Well that was fun! Random note, I think you should surprise us with a Grease 2 reaction!

Thank you for reviewing this. I was one of those who wanted this and suggested it. I recall this from my youth, but since I was born in '71, I had to watch it much later on VCR. I only watched it originally for Harrison Ford and realized i knew most of the actors.

Oh, my Mom remembered Wolfman Jack and pointed him out to me when i saw this. She was born in '48 so was in High School in the '60s.

Question: what would you say the Mcguffin for this film was?

Oouga

My opinion about why it was called American Graffiti: American is obvious, but the Graffiti is often tagged on landscape or large vehicles as a way for young people to try to leave their mark some place to be seen and remembered.

I don't see one really. The MacGuffin is usually an object. If anything the theme of change really drove the plot for me oh and that race-- the whole film was building to that final race where our characters make their final choices

I'm watching along now and my version is not gritty at all. The Amazon Prime version is pristine.
