An apology (Patreon)

I made a mistake.

So I didn't mention about the release of the AI-Curious episode in here. I am truly sorry about this. I acknowledge it was a mistake on my part. What I want you to understand now however is my point of view and why it happened.

With all my shorter animations published in the past, I have never made a separate release post in here. That is because I post the watermark-free version of the animation for my patrons and that has worked as knowledge to people about the release of the animation. With AI-Curious, once the full episode is out, there is no watermark for anyone due to my name being already credited many times during the video.

The only big animation published to everyone without a watermark in the past has been Special Delivery, and honestly I had completely forgotten the fact that I made a separate release post about it in here.

That brings me on to the, honestly, stupid rule of Patreon. I can not make a public post in my Patreon page where I have direct links to NSFW stuff. I can only do that for patron-only posts, and I don't want to do it like that since the animation should be available to everyone. This rule I was fully aware of, however with the stress of releasing the episode on time and being super tired then, I wasn't sure how to deal with the release in here and just skipped it.

My rationalization to myself was that people come to my Patreon page from places where my Patreon link can be seen, which is mostly Twitter. Therefore I assumed my patrons also follow me there. This was a false assumption though since not everyone has a twitter account and people can also find my Patreon page from other sources.

I know that I simply should've provided a link to the Twitter release post in here publicly and that would've solved it. I will do that now and will do it like that for future episodes.

Once again, I apologize for my mistake. It won't happen again.
