Jackary Archives Day 154 - Swimsuit Carolynne WIP (2021) (Patreon)

Today's Jackary Archives is a bit of an unusual one, but we roll! Here's Carolynne, an OC of another artist, in a never-before-seen WIP that I unfortunately never finished!

ARTIST NOTES

So, yeah, this is clearly a WIP, and an unfinished one. I usually don't put unfinished WIPs into Jackary Archives, but this one was far enough along that you can take something out of it, and it's interesting sharing unseen art with a new audience.

This character is Carolynne, yet another OC of the artist tsuaii. You'll also find tsuaii's other two iconic OCs in the Archives, Mea and Leah, so you can definitely see a pattern here, yeah?

Truth it, tsu's a friend, and that's why these OCs have been subjects of mine in the past despite the fact that I don't have fan art of any other artist's OCs. This artist not only was (and still is) a good friend, but was also extremely, profoundly, influential in the development of my style in those years where I finally "figured out" my aesthetic.

My art has drawn comparison to tsuaii's in the past, and although I still consider myself the much less experienced artist, it's less because I was aping the style of an artist I idolized, and more because their insights and critique directly molded my own work.

Anyway, unfortunately with such a huge queue, this is a drawing I started and never finished. And if the lines look choppy, it's because this was originally drawn with a different outfit before I changed my mind to a swimsuit.
