Burp Reaction Headcanons - Ike (Patreon)

Next up, we have Ike from Fire Emblem.

• Canonically, our young mercenary commander here is a huge meat eater, someone who loves steaks galore.  So, with how mighty and fierce he is, I'd wager he can wolf down tons of steaks until he's stuffed to the absolute brim.
• So, when Ike burps, they're incredibly deep and throaty eructations; full blown BELCHES.
• Any time Ike burps, it's usually because he's overstuffed, so he'll finish eating his food, slump back in his seat, then let out a long, rumbling belch, before sighing and patting his heavy belly.
• Ike's typical response to a good burp is to just sigh with relief and pat his stomach or to mumble out a half-hearted "mph, 'scuse me."
• Ike will sometimes response by smacking his chest and giving a small "...oof!"  Or knocking loose a thick afterburp that got stuck.
• He doesn't get embarrassed about burping at all.  While he doesn't go out of his way to be rude or obnoxious, to him, it's a completely natural bodily reaction, and he's not one to get all prissy about it or hold it in.
• If someone around him gets grossed out, he'll simply roll his eyes, but muffle them going forward if he's around them.
• That said, Ike's muffled burps are incredibly deep and loud.
• When he muffles his belches, he'll lean back, push a fist against his mouth and let rip an incredibly forceful eructation that puffs out his cheeks and makes him squint from how hard they can get, before he blows his gas off to the side and grunts.
• When Ike gets drunk, though, he'll let rip some MASSIVE belches.
• On several occasions during post-battle celebrations, Ike has chugged several mugs of ale back to back, ending up really drunk and bloated, and burping loud enough to where everyone in the camp, no matter the cheer, will hear it.
• His burps also get really long when he's drunk.
• He once burped for a solid eight seconds straight, impressing (and grossing out) several members of his group.
• When those happen, Ike just groans drunkenly, huffing and laughing wearily to himself before going back to chugging more ale.
