Gwen has made it through the convention and discovered a little added bonus as she gets out of costume. 

Also we have made it through November. It felt rough. Sickness here on the home front. Thankfully not covid. But taking a lot of work an attention to help my partner get better so she can feel normal again. And return of some muscle pain for me. But both doing better. And hopefully we can all end the year on a bright note.

If she still has some magic left, Gwen could say something like, "While I like wearing heels, I prefer the comfort of wearing flat shoes, like sneakers." Maybe that might help Gwen. Also, are there women who are unable to keep their feet flat on the ground and can't unbend them, as if they're always wearing high heels. I see that happen a lot in gender transformation stories and always wondered if that was a real thing that could happen. And if so, could a woman do something about it, so that they can be able to walk with their feet flat on the ground again? And so glad that your health issues aren't Covid. Hope you and your partner feel better soon.

That's good that you''re both feeling better, a small blessing in a really hellish year. If Gwen's been dwarfed by all these people *and* she's been wearing high heels this whole time... OMG she's so *tiny*! Congrats Gwen, you're in the 5-feet-even club. Definitely a good example of how her comments can have a compounding effect, resulting in even more drastic changes.

The fixed arc is a bit of exaggeration to flavor and show the spell. It's a more fun and quicker way for her to find out. Personally, I knew women when I was growing up that could not wear sneakers. The tendons of their foot became permanently raised after years, or decades, of daily wearing for heels from a young age. Also, since I have some arc issues of my own, I may have encountered a few more people with issues like this than normal. (Sorry for the second reply, the first would not let me edit)

Yeah, she's been in heels since putting on the costume. Tiffany has been in heels as well. So their height related to each other stayed pretty much the same. Steve is also very very tall.

I'm happy to hear you are both doing better. Heels are fun but out of necessity I'm a sneaker and boot girl. Wearing heels on a glacier can be quite the adventure. And yes if you are wondering I have tried it.

On the more mundane preafrooding level, I'd go for "pumps and heels" in panel four... And let us hope that there will be a full-on Convention there next year!
