In regard of what you said about the show killing black people, I understand what you are saying and I agree Bonnie isn't treated fairly, but apart from that the rest, I don't think that is the case. Here are the number of people killed so far in the show, (from main, secondary, one line or no line characters) according to etnicity: White 138 - Black 18 - Asian 3 I'll let you drow your own conclusions. The plot isn't driven by etnicity, it would be crazy to do that. The Martins were killed so that Bonnie could take center stage in the plot. Klaus needs Tyler because at this stage, he needs the Major to be on his side, his hybrids are staying in Tyler house, he cannot make more hybrids because Elena is a vampire, so Chris that betreyed him, because he is unsired, is the only choice he has, to get two things done, one, making Jeremy break the course, two, sending a message to the rest of the hybrids, not to dare to betray him or dare to get unsired. Chris is the only choice because, apart from Tyler (and Klaus doesn't know) Chris is the only one unsired, and by helping them and contravene Klaus orders, he exposed himself as unsired.

It has been two days, after Elena and Stefan split up. The day they split up, the day of dance court preparation and the actual Miss Mistyc Fall Court day, not one day. They have been waiting for ever to make love. The motel kiss, the bathroom scene, the dirty dance moments, were an appetiser to this. It is obvious that the moment she is free and they are finally alone, they dance, who can resist Damon dancing, specially when she is fully aware of the extent of his love for her, that they were going to have sex. Unavoidable, those two are magnets. And you wait to make love when you need to build up trust, but they have everything already, so to me the timing of when it happen is not an issue at all. Elena is not with Stefan anymore and his behaviour has created some further distance between them. And it shouldn't be anybody concern but her and Damon how when and what they are doing. It is not like she didn't state it clearly that she has feeling for Damon, and that he is the main reasons she and Stefan split up. Those feelings have been there for long time, way before she became a vampire. He didn't order her to love him, or to make love to him. The sire bond thing will be better explained in the next episode....and I leave it there. For Klaus it would have made more sense to kill Tyler, but Jeremy wouldn't have killed Tyler. There truly is not enough good representation in the main cast regarding black people, with Bonnie not being treated very well a lot of times. But reagarding the Martins (Luca and his dad) I get why they had to die, the whole struggle with Bonnie wanting to sacrifice herself to kill Klaus and all that wouldn't really have been a thing. And it would have been way to easy in some way with especially such a powerful warlock like the father. I think the general problem in this show, is that they leave their 'representation' to the side characters, which are usually getting killed off pretty fast. So I'd say it is less that so many black people die, because like you said a lot of white people also died, it's more that less/fewer black people survive.

I don't believe they cast according to the colour of the skin. "Oh this character will not survive let's get a black person playing it". I don't think could be remotely deliberate. The point is that the story is about a small town of American founding families in the south that is obviously the one that in the past had plantations, so they must be white, that is why the show is so hard on the parents and kill them all and expect their offspring, to make up for the founders families sins, and the rest are originally from Europe. When the plot is not so binding in regard of the origin of the main character families, like in TO, or in Legacies, the writers/ producers are more free to choose actors that aren't necessarily white. But in here, every other character that isn't related to the main plot, get to be used as a devise to get some action, some violence, some plot design etc. So it very likely that you will get killed, no matter the colour. WE are only on season 4 and they already killed 160 people and there will be plenty more... But the fact that as an actor you are on a show that has been seen all over the world and is still very popular, it is a testament to the goodness of your craft, the competition to be on the show was fierce. So no matter the colour, no matter the role, if you are on the show you are an excellent actor.

Sorry I'm not on edge when talking about potential racism because I'm Italian. In our history we never took part in any slavery, so racism isn't in our culture, we are raised colour blind aware of what is going on in other culture in that respect. So if sound frank that is the reason. I'll tell you as I see it and I can see that people here are scare to touch the subject....so what is the point of bring it up?

I don’t particularly like the sire bond cause like you said Grace it gives Stefan hope. Then it will cause rifts between the brothers and mainly me as a Delena shipper waited for this Delena moment since ages and now when it’s happening they make this into this sire bond thing like no. Cause I love Damon and when he gets to know about the sire bond thing it’s gonna be heartbreaking for him so lots of misunderstandings/ flights etc which I hate to see and then there is also the thing that ppl blame Damon that now he can take advantage of Elena since she’s sired like oh they slept together cause she’s sire like NO I never hear Damon asking or commanding her to sleep with him. I just don’t like this sire bond it’s probably interesting for the plot and the love triangle but nooo

None the less I love this episode as it has some absolutely cute Delena and Klaroline moments. On a lighter note when Matt steps up to escort April the face he makes is so dam funny it cracks me up like anything lol Victor and Grace pls have a look at it once while editing this or something 😁

Its actually never made clear why a vampire might be sired to another vampire, they just say that it happens sometimes only if the person was in love with the other person before becoming a vampire... They just used it as a plot device,never really explained why exactly it might happen

About killing Chris: I actually. just saw something today that makes it even worse. When Caroline is at the bar with Klaus Stefan sends her a text message and it says "I lost Elena, I need a vampire to kill. I'll turn someone if I have to, get an answer fast" SOOO I interpret that as Stefan will go murder some innocent person and turn them into a vampire but he's on a time crunch so he and Caroline offered up Chris as a sacrifice by telling Klaus Chris was the one who let Stefan in and that Chris was no longer sired. SO if it makes you feel any better the thought DID cross the show runners mind but they instead went with another moment to show us just how desperate Stefan is and how he is willing to do ANYTHING to find this cure even though Elena never would have wanted that. I mean she wants the cure but she doesn't want to have to kill people especially ones that helped her, along the way.

I usually dont comment regarding race, but it really seems like this show finds a way to kill all black people or make them miserable lol....there is literally no black person in the show who is loved by people...even bonnie is treated like shit...and im an Indian so I dont usually read into the racial bias in a show( because idc)...but in this show its pretty obvious...and what makes it worse is that, when critics commented on this somewhere near season 5, julie plec all of a sudden started adding more black characters, and more lgbt characters...which makes it even more obvious lol
