So excited you guys are watching this show Doaks is the “black guy” and I fuckin love him. “Grab a crayon psycho, scribble this down” For clarity Harry is Both Deb and Dexters father. Deb is his biological daughter and Dexter was adopted. Harry was a cop and he taught Dexter his “code”

Oh and also something that was said in this episode that you didn’t hear was Dexter said sex never figures into his murders. He is NOT at least sexually getting off on it.

Dexter is very interesting, I remember watching the first season a long time ago so I don't remember much, but Is Dexter the hero or the villain in this story? He is a psychopath that kills bad people so he is like an intense version of Batman. And the thing with psychopaths is that they are very intelligent and understand human psychology extremely well, apparently, most psychopaths aren't violent necesarly they just don't feel emotions as normal people do. So Dexter analyzes every human interaction perfectly he knows how to fool people. I think he is a very decent person even more so than normal people he just has damage to the brain and he can't feel emotions normally.

I feel like maybe most serial killers are white men because society always gives them benefit of the doubt. If a black guy walks a little weird most people will get suspicious but if a white guy walks or acts weird they think he’s just different, awkward, shy or abused etc. I just think White people get more opportunity to kill before they’re Even suspect

Ohh I would die in that heat!! But Victor loves the heat so he actually might like it. We live in the Bay Area in Cali but we don’t get that kinda heat here

Lol yeah Dexter doesn’t understand human interaction like at all. He tries to imitate things but this is where his weakness is. In faking human emotions and routines he finds himself in situations he is not equipped to deal with and as you see with Doaks people who pick up on that kind of stuff sense how off Dexter can be.

I randomly joined to watch your reactions to vampire diaries as I'm a fan of the originals but loved Dexter so looking forward to your reaction to these. 😁 Also, white males being serial killers is a myth. If you look at the statistics of USA alone you can see it is much more evenly distributed and generally follows the percentage of population. There are a few famous black serial killers but white men in America definitely get more coverage and often become infamous. I think this might be a racial issue due to the colour of the victims as the majority of serial killers kill people of their own race so might likely be due to the focus on "all-american white pretty girls" being murdered. Unfortunately America seems to be one of the few countries that has done in depth research on this but would be interesting to see other countries statistics, including some where whites are the minority. Anyway enough of the long message, loving all your reactions I've watched so far. ❤
