Well now you know it's NOT the ring that is driving Ric mad. I think Victor missed that cause he said he doesn't understand why Elena hasn't called Jeremy and told him to take it off. The line just before Victor said that was that "the attacks occurred even though she wasn't still wearing the ring" The ring facilitates the conditions needed to make Alaric develop this split personality, but it's not the cause.

The serial killer plot will eventually make more sense as u watch more episodes. So see what Damon did actually helped Stefan control his urges when he saw Meredith covered in blood or else he couldn’t have done it. So Elena getting pissed on Damon for doing that little activity really makes no sense she needs to understand their vampires and Stefan in particular needs to learn control. Damon really played his part out really well this time he was able to fool both sage and Rebekah now that’s savage. Loved their little threesome scene lol Damon dancing is 😻😻

Nobody is paying the rent, it's their house... I think they got not just the house and the lake house when their parents died, they might have also gotten some money... I don't know if you have such thing in the us, but here in germany there is something called "waisenrente", which translates into "orphan's pension", people whose parents died and are still somehow in the educational system (school, college, etc) can get that I think (but I'm not an expert in that)... Just that about the 'detail questions' XD Brotherly bonding over killing originals, whatever brings you together... lol
