Update - 12 December 2016 (Patreon)

tl;dr - This week I finished the images for the game; now I'm mostly working on the last remaining details before I can make the beta available.

Welcome to the updates!

As I announced earlier in the week, now all patrons will receive these updates! I hope you enjoy them. I still avoid spoilers here, but I'll give you a weekly update on my progress and show you some game art as well. Do please give me feedback on what I write about here, it helps a lot to know what you guys are thinking.

As you probably saw this is because of a new restructuring of my rewards; when I set up this campaign I really didn't know what a good rewards structure would look like but I think this layout I have now is much better. Maybe in the future I'll change it further, I'm not sure. For now I think it should be a good system to try out for the future.

This weeks' image

In past I've shown you some other versions of this Rio outfit for the victory suite, but I got some more props so I've got this whole new style for her. Those props were acquired, by the way, thanks to having passed the $1250 funding goal, making it much easier now to improve my stock of 3D assets.

I'm pretty happy with the costume now. I mean, mostly I'm showing you this pic because the other stuff I worked on tended to be pretty spoilery this week, so I can't really get into it too much, but I hope you enjoy it anyway.

I finished illustrating the game! (sort of)

As of yesterday I believe I have finished creating images for PAL. Yes, I really have.

I will probably make a few more tweaks here and there throughout the beta phase, but otherwise I think I'm actually done. The last stuff I finished off was things for the harem end and victory suite, as well as a couple of Rio images that I wanted to add or redo. Of course, it's also possible that I've forgotten to add something I planned to, but I'll have to wait and see on that.

Dotting the 'i's and crossing the 't's

So at this point in the development of PAL my main tasks are primarily wrapping up a lot of little things. I have some voice editing, programming and a little bit of writing to do, but that's about it apart from the testing phase that we go through during the beta. I'm going through my to-do list and crossing stuff off; hopefully everything will be crossed off soon!

One odd thing I did this week was slightly expand the harem ending with an extra room because I got a new 3D set (for free from Daz) that was just perfect for a new environment in that part of the story. It's so good I wish I could use it a little more, ultimately I've used a very high quality environment in only one picture, but that's the way it is. The story comes first and it wouldn't benefit from any more time spent in this particular room.

I think I'll probably make a small number of pics for EFon's PAO

After PAL is out I think I'll probably make a smattering of images for EFon's Pervert Action: Origins twine CYOA game that will be coming out soonish. I will restrict that to making a clothed portrait and a naked portrait for each of the women, so that the job doesn't take too long, but that job will still take a bit of work time because I'll have to design all the character models. I anticipate a couple of weeks at least on that job, but I feel like it might be worth it if a lack of pictures will prevent a lot of you guys from playing PAO. It might work well to give you something extra to enjoy. I would like to hear your opinions on that idea, though.
