Update - New Kim passion potion pic (Patreon)

This week's image

This picture is, you may recognise, similar to the previous passion potion picture in the game for Kimiko, but frankly I always thought that the one that was in there was garbage, so I wanted to change it. Here I've worked on the lighting, the background set, the poses and the textures to produce something that is, I think, a lot less goofy.

Honestly, there's a number of quite cool completely new pics that I made this week but I don't really want to show them just yet - I want that to come up a little closer to when I'm revealing that stuff. Also, I don't want to show too much from the Kimiko and Iku scene before I release it. (There will still be more previews of that before it comes out, though.)

Victory suite update

One feature that I feel would be good to do for the March PAL update is to expand the victory suite with a new southern corridor, containing replay options for a bunch of content that previously wasn't replayable from the victory suite. This includes stuff like the romance scenes, voyeur scenes, Hiroshi scenes, night service, wake-up scenes and other extras.

While this is a relatively easy job because it doesn't require the creation of new content, it is actually still fairly time consuming because it involves a bunch of reprogramming. I've been working on it this week and it requires me to create a bunch of new text overrides and tasks, then migrate the original text for those scenes over to new locations so it can be accessed by both the original scenes and by the replay tasks.

I'm still not finished it yet, but I'm hoping it won't take too much longer. The pain is that I keep having other intrusions into my life taking up all my time, including (but not limited to) my day job. Nobody respects my need to dedicate time to making smut!

Kimiko/Masami scene image remake

I decided this week that I'm going to add to the list of objectives for the next release a remake of the Kimiko/Masami scene pictures. This won't mean changing the poses much, except for a few small tweaks here and there, but I really feel that the scene is a good one with disappointing art, almost purely because of bad lighting. I went into a whole discussion of it in my discord where I explained some of the details of how it all works and I was thinking of reposting that here, but I can't really be bothered right now. :)

Suffice to say, the images for that scene can be substantially with some relatively simple re-rendering, so that will be a worthwhile feature of the next update. If you replay the scene again the images will just be a lot more appealing.

KimIku threesome and other new content

In terms of actual new content production I haven't been idle this week. I've been putting together stuff for the KimIku scene (coming in April) as well as several little bits and pieces coming in the March update. I'll put together a full upcoming feature list for you in a public update, probably tomorrow.

The KimIku scene is coming together well, although I pretty much have to finish it off this month to get it ready for the April update, so I'm panicking a little about that. What's the date already? Shit! There's still quite a bit of writing left to do on it but I'd really rather not release it with any placeholders, so I've got to try to finish that up soon. First I've got to get everything done for the March update, though. I won't have time in the first couple of weeks of April to work on the scene, you see, because I'll be out of the country.

With the new stuff, some of it is focusing on making the passion potions more interesting, while other stuff is just new fun scenes to include (although I talked about that last week). It's all coming together, but it's amazing to me how much work I can potentially have to do even when most of the content for the update is already made.
