NEXT MONTH

Next month, instead of launching new models through a vote, I'm considering revisiting some of my older creations like the quarry and the god of war models. They could benefit from a bit of cleanup and efficiency improvements. However, I want to gauge your interest before investing time in these updates. So, what's your preference: should I continue creating new models, or would you prefer I dedicate the month to enhancing my custom rig, refining shaders, and starting the process of updating some of the older models? Let me know your thoughts.

ANIMATION

I've been making progress on the Pharah x Widow animation, but I've been taking it slow to avoid frustration. Without using references, the process is dragging on longer than I'd like, and it's starting to get to me. I'm considering setting a deadline and releasing it, regardless of whether I think it's perfect or not. I'm still in the learning phase and holding onto projects for a long time is not ideal. Right now, all that matters is quantity and getting the hours in.

END

Anyways, that's my thoughts for right now.
I just wanted to gauge the climate.

Remember, drink water, touch grass and get a good night's sleep!

Why arent you using references for your animations?

Because I'm dumb lol. Normally I always look at a full animation reference and try to replicate it. But with this one I'm about to release, I just looked at a pose and tried to animate just based off the pose. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend it when you're at the beginning stages of animation like me. That's for when you have a thousand hours plus animating and have a full grasp of body mechanics.
