I have to start this by gushing about the lighting. Because not only is everything with the girls out in the countryside beautifully lit and wonderfully evocative, but the contrast between those scenes and Nikki's, ahem, dank man cave is fantastic. Gorgeous but also incredibly symbolic of the different steps Nikki and Sandy are on in their respective journeys. Also, Nikki's man cave, where she sits in the dark, surrounded by the trappings of her old life, a life she keeps trying to get back to even though it's becoming increasingly pointless even to dream of it? Nik! *bonk* Wake up! I know you didn't want to be a girl, but it's fun, I promise. You get multiple orgasms and everything; way better than throwing a football, probably. I love Nikki's expression here, as well. "Yeah, my brah just got laid. Yeahhhhhh." Although, Nikki, you were a quarterback and then you were away for a year and now you're housebound; how do YOU know Jessica's the only hot lesbian in town? Haven't exactly been hanging out with lesbians, have you? With your, ahem, enlightened attitudes towards gay people... Still using her old face for her gmail pfp is heartbreaking. As is Sandy having no pfp whatsoever. The kiss. With the sun between them, and their silhouettes forming a heart shape. WOW. And on the next page Jess looks so damn pretty. These fields are lovely and I want to live there. "Not everything has to do with sex. Okay?" I'm imagining Nikki making an acid comment about Sandy's balls having been literally removed at this point. Sandy taking charge! Being the one to give pleasure! The "new girl" joke! Love all these pages, love who Sandy is becoming. Jessica's self-disgust is SO close to the surface. I just want this girl to have a good, healthy relationship, whether it's with Sandy or someone else. Just someone to make her feel good about herself. And Sandy! She's so damn noble! Although, babe, you have to get better at phrasing these things, if you tell her, "I'm not really a girl," Jessica's going to start talking about self-esteem and believing in yourself. You need to lead with, "I was force feminised by Mrs Ferris." Wow. Say THAT five times quickly. Zack! Cliffhanger! Zack! Cliffhanger! Zack! Cliffhanger! I don't know which I'm more mad about!

I mean, while Mrs. Ferris is responsible for Sandy/Sofia's petticoat punishment, I'm not so sure she's not a girl. From the little hints given in "Maid for Life", Sandy/Sofia is likely trans but wasn't ready to accept it prior to her petticoat punishment, & isn't entirely willing to accept it since her transformation was forced on her. Of course, Jessica will probably struggle seeing that in her, & may go back to being untrustworthy of Sandy/Sofia when he tells her. I also don't know when Sandy/Sofia will embrace the fact, but it's clear Josh sees it, & so do many others, including her audience.

I'll always circle back to how very well Sandy keeps adapting to new situations. With Josh, with Nikki and with Jessica, even with Mrs Ferris, she keeps rolling with it. She's very good at being a girl, and she's finding ways to have fun :) I don't know if she was/is an egg (despite my natural inclination to point to any random character and go, "Egg!") but she's taken to her transition more easily than most other characters in this universe.

OMG I love this story so much :) Nikki acting consequently as Nick is adorable but c'mon everybody knows she's wasting her time right? :} Every time when I see Nicki acting like that a particular song pops into my mind... Wake up Wake up Wake up Wake up Wake up Wake up Wake up Wake up How long? Not long 'Cause what you reap is what you sow [Rage Against The Machine - Wake Up] It is a real shame that those dudes interrupted intimate moment between Sandy & Jessica... but... I don't think they need to fear Zack... why? Let's check out what we know about him so far... Back in the days when Nikki was still Nick, Zack was the biggest contender for the head quarterback position. Now we additionally know that he is gay and is completely overwhelmed by his apodictic father... So I guess if Craig or the other guy try to do something stupid... Zack will stop them... Please correct me if I'm wrong but is it not true that gays and lesbians are always supportive for each other? I don't know about you guys, but I think Zack is more of an ally to Nikki right now than an enemy... Can't wait what will happen next 🥰

I believe Zach hasn't come out of the closet, and that's why his father feminized Nick, other than to get him the starting quarterback job on the team. I think the father thinks that since his son is gay, Nikki will be his perfect girlfriend, thus killing 2 birds with one stone...even though we saw early in the series when Zach and Nick are alone in the warehouse that Zach, doesn't like feminized men or trans women. So I imagine he won't treat the two lovebirds in a very "nice" way, at least in front of his colleagues.

Another great chapter Emory, and what a cliffhanger....aagghh!!!! I join in the praise about the quality of your art. As for the story this just keeps getting better and better, how I can't wait for college to start!!! it's going to be such a fun year! And before that we got to see Nikki and her dad's reunion and reconciliation with her mom (love it), help from her ex-girlfriend, Josh's reappearance... hahaha what a great series! 😍 PS: Can someone explain to me what "PMS" means on page 3, it's for translation, thanks!

Yeah, Zach's both closeted and terrified of his father, who hates his son's sexuality so much he spent god knows how much feminising Zach's crush in a doomed attempt to 'cure' him. As hilarious as a Zach Ally Moment would be — "Fellow jocks! These beautiful lesbians need our support!" — I'm with you: I think he'll feel under pressure to behave like a stereotypical straight guy here, for the benefit of his mates.

Zach is a very very closted gay! Nikki's entire transformation has been motivated by Zach's fathers attempt to deny/hide his sons 'homosexuality. Zach is very much trying to play the role of a straight jock. I doubt very much that he will prove to be an ally.

Thanks, Naomi! I wouldn't say he's being "unfaithful." Rather, he's living Nick alone. You'd think Nick would appreciate the space (he doesn't want to be ANYONE'S girlfriend at the moment), but he's also pretty mad that Zach isn't doing anything to help the situation either!

That's quite possible, mdaily. Zach is scared of his teammates finding out that he's gay, and he's frightened of his father, as well. He told Nikki that she should just 'go with the flow' because his dad always wins. Zach seems defeated, as if he has tried in the past to be his own man and has failed. This is his chance to step up and be someone different. Will he choose to take it?
