Motherhood Atmosphere Test (BTS #8) (Patreon)

I'll be posting a watermarked version of the top image in various locations. That was only one out of six (edit: now 7) for this image set. The rest are in this post.

For Motherhood I wanted to have a specific mood and atmosphere that set it apart from Fantasy Dating. You may recognize the location from the original version of Fantasy Dating's intro. I used it for this test because it was what I had readily available. While this could substitute for an old school building basement, I will probably use something else for reasons mentioned in BTS #4.

This subway asset has stained glass skylights on the roof. I didn't use them before but I thought I would give it a shot this time around. I went for cold colored lighting to simulate moonlight.

This POV pic best illustrates the contrasting warm colors of the candlelight in the background vs the colder pseudo moonlit figure in the foreground.

The scenario of this scene is what I envisioned a couple of young people with access to a college's theatre department could reasonably come up with. Some colored electrical tape and and old candelabras wouldn't be too far fetched. The riding crop would likely be the most expensive piece of the whole scene.

I didn't want Motherhood to be another VN where the "MC dominates all before them and everyone bows to their will." The BDSM aspect should be a mutually shareable experience which most of the love interests want to partake in. Note how the Older Tenant is sitting patiently with no restraints, but left the tape covering her mouth. She could take it off and walk out at any time. But she wants to stay to see where this experience might take her.

While dark and dramatic, I still want to emphasize the consensual nature of the encounters in Motherhood. If you look at the bottom of leftmost candelabra you will see a duffel bag and some sneakers. No one was involuntarily stripped of their clothing, it's in the same room in the corner. Look again at the smile of the Younger Tenant. It's not a malicious or evil smile, she's excited and can't prevent her regular facial expressions from showing through. This scene and their character arcs is about two young women experimenting in role-play and sexuality. Which will lead directly to MC finding out and "guiding" them in various ways.

Motherhood will contain a few options for painful BDSM content. However, never will there be a scene where someone feels forced to undergo something. Like FD, no matter the player's choice, everyone will be happy at the end of an erotic scene.

I do have a few end notes. The hairstyle of the Younger Tenant will likely be changed because the hairline around her ear is missing for an unknown reason and I keep having to use Photoshop to fix it. Also, the above test scene won't be in Motherhood, but a roughly similar scene will be taking place with these two during MH's Day 1. It serves as part of their character intro while MC is doing something (or someone) else.

Edit: The above was written out before I finished tinkering with this concept. After a few days, I wanted to try out a more modern theme with bright neon lights instead of the traditional dark candlelit one. The vibe is more of a rave hangout converted into a sex club. Again I wanted to emphasize the characters inexperience via the cobbled together nature of the scenario they created.

Besides the barrels, the main difference from the final version is the lighting. Despite being surrounded by neon colored lights, the primary lights illuminating both figures is a neutral color. I thought that having more direct neon lights would mess up the look of the skin or reflect off the tape too much. Turned out my assumptions were incorrect. Here is the final version in 4k.
