  • For this page, I wanted to conclude the action here, by having the Drunken Master to be as intimidating as possible. After I panelled every frame here, I added in all the 3D models, and then drew over them. For the Drunken Master intimidation panel, I added in all the 3D models and the warped the perspective setting so that I could make this panel look dynamic enough for me to draw.

  • After cleaning up every pose for this page, I got to work with outlining each panel. I started with all the panels I could finish off easily. While I was outlining all the small panels, I roughed out a new face for certain poses, like this one here for example. For the bleeding nose, I used a brush that was specifically used for cuts and wounds.

  • Eventually, every panel had their backgrounds added, outlines completed, speech bubbles filled, and sound effects written. While I was adding all the screen tones, I decided to make the intimidation panel to feel more intense than what I originally planned. So, I used the noise texture for the pose and the background.
  • I made a new folder for the fire effects, which you can see here, to colour the gem effects. In adding all the fire, I went back into the pose file and removed segments of the noise texture because I wanted the noise parts to be shading and the erased areas to represent where the light is hitting.
