  • I started this page by roughing out all the poses and panel layouts. For one of the panels, I wanted to do make more poses that were out of the panels boarders.

  • While fleshing out each pose, I made some folders that only contained the 3D model, so I could work on the poses without the hassle from the masked area whenever I would create a boarder. While I was roughing out all the poses, I began turning all the backgrounds into line art, just so I could save time on outlining all the poses.

  • Here's all the outlines for each panel. I began outlining all the smaller panels first because they were easy enough to outline. Then I outlined all the full body poses that were outside the panel's boarders.

  • While adding all the screen tones and textures, I made a folder containing the sickle with chain for the bottom panel, then I added some glass shards that followed along the action lines. After finishing off this panel, I added some motion blur to the whole image, just to push that action a little further.

  • After adding all the textures and shading, I began work on the adding the gem that the Drunken Master flicks at the main villains. What I did was I gathered references for how the gem looks in the webtoon, then I drew it on a separate canvas, then I saved it as a PNG. Afterwards, I used a 3D plane to place the PNG onto a 3D space, that way I can move it freely without transforming the 2D image.
