Ep. 04 - Working progress - Page 02 (Patreon)

• While working on these panels here, I wanted to play around with the webtoon layout once more, I did this by having the Drunken master and two of our villains in the top panel, while the third villain (Gyoza) outside the panel's boundaries. I did this by creating a folder containing the fat model, and then I moved the pose between one panel and the next panel.

• Later on, I began roughing out each pose. Then I began the sound effect work earlier than I usually do. After roughing out all the poses, I began to outline all the smaller panels because they took less time to complete than the large top panel.

• For the top panel, I turned all the 3D models and backgrounds into line art, and then I cleaned up all the rough drawings, including the fat man model. I did this because at the time I haven't developed my skills to outline the rough sketches, which was why I had to clean up these poses.

Afterwards, I added all the sound effects, stock smoke and debris effects, and then coloured all the weapons and the large noodle pot. Before adding all the speech bubbles and sound effects for the top panel, I added some motion blur to make it look like that kick had some force behind it.
