  • For this upload, I wanted to try out the webtoon layout that Clip Studio Paint has provided on a previous update. While working on this, I used a previous work I was a background assistant on as a guide for how to properly pace each panel, and see how this creator made his webtoon. Which was why I made my own webtoon guide, which helped enough at the time.

  • While working on these, I focused on the panels that I could complete the quickest. These panels either had a limited or no background, or a simple pose of the main character for this upload, only known as, The Drunken Master.

  • Here's some of the panel's that I either completed quickly, or panels that required a lot of time to complete. While working the background for the middle panel, I wanted to make it look messy by adding small details in the kitchen, alongside the buildings in the background. Most of these assets were either bought from the Clip Studio Assets store, or free assets I've downloaded over the years.

  • For the bottom of the page, I roughed out some panels and added some bowl throwing action. I did this by making a folder containing the 3D asset of a bowl, alongside the motion between the where the bowl has been thrown, and where the bowl ends up. While adding the sound effects, I wanted to make it look like it's coming out of the panel, so I warped the sound by using the transform tools.

  • When it came towards the end of this page, I added some extra details. Such as: adding a little “Thonk” sound effect, more impact for when this small character gets hit with the bowl, and changing the outlines by overlaying a line texture on top of the original line art.
